1)      Which version of Windows 8 Operating System is installed on the computer? Is it a 32 Bit or the 64 Bit version?
2)      Ask are you facing any issue browsing internet using IE10?
3)      Does internet work fine with other applications?
 
Follow the steps to check which version of Windows is installed on the computer;
 
Press Windows Key + Pause Break on the Keyboard.
This will pop up a new window
System window.
On this window next to the System type you will be to see which version 64 Bit or the 32 Bit of Operating System is installed on the computer.
 
If it's a Windows 8 64-bit computer, you have two versions of Internet Explorer: IE 32-bit (the default) and IE 64-bit (cannot be the default).
Shortcuts to both should be listed in your Start Window or All Apps.
 
If you have 64-bit version of Windows 8 Operating System installed on the computer, then Internet Explorer will be the 64-bit version by default and you can also use Internet Explorer 32-bit version.
To determine the version of Internet Explorer that you are running, click About Internet Explorer on the
Help menu of Internet Explorer.
If you are running the 64-bit version of Internet Explorer, the About Internet Explorer window includes a 64-bit descriptor label.
The 32-bit version of Internet Explorer does not show a bit-level descriptor.
