I also tried to change file type from Control Panel, but after reboot is back to the old one type!

Have you rebooted since such a change?  Were you the correct user that made the change (were you in the correct user profile and not some other users')?  Was there some "catch all" music files option in WinAmp? 
 
Have the settings that you changed since reverted back in WinAmp?  Does WinAmp want you to right-click on WinAmp.exe and take the "Run As Administrator" option before making Preference changes?  That could be a possible reason worth checking.
 
After again making the changes in WinAmp, If you right-click on an .avi or .
mkv and use the Open With option does it now take preference over WinAmp if you set things up that way?
 
Maybe you could just uninstall WinAmp until things settle down a bit, then you could reinstall it?

Windows Restore
