anyone know where the setting is to take off the 'check mark box' for icons are?

i just got my laptop fixed from future shop and they have it setup with this semi **** idea of checking the icon instead of highlighting it anyone know how to remove it?

Download Error Fixer (Free)

Click Start, type Folder Options into the search box and press ENTER.
In the Folder Options window click on the View tab
Under Advanced Settings and uncheck the option Use check boxes to select items
Click OK.

Boot in Safe Mode:

• Open Run command as previously described
• Type MSConfig
• Click on Boot tab
• Tick Safe boot in Boot option
• Select Network
• Click Apply and OK
• Reboot your system

Your system will boot in Safe mode with Networking. You may now try and open Windows Store and should not see any errors.
