Are the Outlook 2013 PST and data files identical to Outlook 2010 files?

Are the Outlook 2013 PST and data files identical to Outlook 2010 files?

I installed Office 2013 while keeping my Office 2010 installation intact.  I hate the new look & feel of Outlook 2013 and I want to go back to using Outlook 2010.  But I am concerned that since I allowed Outlook 2013 to use the same PST file in My Documents
/ Outlook Files, it might have modified the PST file to make it incompatible with Outlook 2010.  I haven't tried it yet, I am being cautious.  Does Outlook 2013 make any changes to the structure of the Outlook data files?
