Backup won't work if 'Libraries' Selected

Right after installing Win 7 64 bit and my programs I ran Windows Backup letting Windows select the files to be backed up.
I also set scheduled backups for once a week at a time I would not be on the PC.  The backups were written to a 2nd Internal HD on
the system.

The 1st backup ran sucessfully.  The day after the next scheduled backup I got an 'Action Center' message that stated backup started as scheduled, but failed with an error message that stated something about user file changed (I don't remember exact error wording). 
I started backup and saw a message "Last backup failed".  I clicked the "Backup Now" button.  The backup started, then stoped with the same failed message.  I then chose "change settings" and again chose "Let Windows choose" then Clicked the Backup Now button
and again it failed.

I repeated all of the above alternating the settings between "Let Windows Choose" and "Let Me choose" and all failed.  Finally I used "Let Me Choose" and UNselected all of the 'Libraries'.  At that point the Backup ran sucessfully.

Does anyone know why if the 'Libraries' are selected either by Windows automatically or selected by the user the backup fails or what the solution do this is?
