Calculated Fields on Pivot Tables

Hello,

I'm new with Excel pivot table.
I use it to grab fields data from a SQL database.

Is there a way to do calculated values on the fields after it is dropped into the table?

For example I have field A and field B.Field A is string and Field B is float.

Field A can be:

25% - Almost not qualified
50%  - Halfway qualified
or 100% - Qualified.

Field B is any number.
I want to create a new field C that calculates Field A * Field B.
It would be better if it can do IF statement also, for example:
If (A= "25% - Almost not qualified", .25*B, If (B = "50%  - Halfway qualified", .5*B, B))

Is this possible to do in Pivot table? I tried to write the formula on the column but it doesn't allow me to click on it.
