this is happen suddenly.
at 30 december 2013 midnight,I still use this notebook normally.but at 31 december, at afternoon ,about 1 o'clock I turned on my notebook , after the blue windows welcome screen,there are appear black screen for about 10 until 15
seconds.
then it disappear, and I see my desktop.but al start menu icon lost, and I cannot open any progrma until about 30 second

I didnt install anything between 30 and 31 december.
then I try to look for solution until now.first I wanna know if there any viruses at my notebook.
so I scan them with updated antivirus.
first time use microsoft security esential,not found anything.then
using bitdefender antivirus,not found anything.
bitdefender is antivirus plus I already bought,so its not a free version.
Then I scan using portable scanner like malwarebytes,not found also.I ask several forum about viruses,including hijackthis forum,but also,still
not fixed my notebook..
so I give up to find virus here.
I then try to update all of my driver that have new update avaiable..
but still nothing improved...

anybody know how to detect my notebook's actual problem,and find the solution?

P.S my system restore deactived so I cannot use it..

I have a 4 month old Dell XPS9000 running Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Yesterday when I turned it on, I got a screen saying Win didn't shut down correctly.
I chose to boot normally. I noticed that my McAff was not working and I had to reinstall McAfee because
files were missing.
I turned the machine off & on three times during the day and same thing. Today I got the Dell logo and the bar loading and then a black screen with a blinking cursor. I tried five times and got the same blinking cursor.
I have a rescue
disk with my backup and this was the only way to get the computer to start, boot from this disk. Again files are missing from McAfee. Dell wants to sell me a $250 protection package to fix this.
I did not get a system disk with my computer

I installed the Bing Bar and now a week later, Windows wants to repair it.
I tried twice and no go.
Silverlight seems to be on the fritz.

"Windows Backup skipped backing up system image because one of the critical volumes is not having enough free space." There is plenty of space on the backup drive.

The backup files number 2964 so most of the backup seems to work.
